What about taking a nap on the table?

Appropriate lunch break can make us more energetic in the afternoon work and study, so many office workers will take a lunch break. However, due to space restrictions, some people can only choose to lie on the table and go to bed in the morning. But we want to remind everyone here that sleeping on the table for a long time can easily cause physical discomfort and may even cause unnecessary physical illness.

1. Eye disease

The oppression of the eyeball when lying prone causes the eyeball to expand and the axis of the eye to grow. It is easy to damage the cornea and retina, causing corneal deformation and curvature changes. It may also cause increased intraocular pressure and induce glaucoma. In addition to affecting vision, forming high myopia and increasing the incidence of glaucoma, it is likely to accelerate astigmatism.

2. Respiratory diseases

A nap at the table will increase the body's curvature, which will oppress the lungs and increase the burden on the lungs. Due to the insufficient supply of blood and oxygen, the lungs cannot be stretched properly, resulting in irregular breathing, which will affect respiratory function, especially in women. Chest will also induce heart or breast diseases in the future.

3. Gastrointestinal diseases

After lunch, the body needs more blood to flow to the gastrointestinal tract to help digestion and absorption. It takes at least an hour to empty the stomach food; if you sleep on the table immediately after a meal, the gastrointestinal tract will be compressed due to increased body curvature. Increasing the burden of peristalsis, reducing digestive capacity, and easily causing flatulence and chronic gastritis, this may be the main reason for more digestive tract diseases in Orientals.
