Chassis removal of bodywork to treat injuries

1 Body scratch removal

During the self-driving tour, due to the owner's unfamiliarity with the road surface or some poor road conditions, it may cause obvious scratches and bumps on the outside of the vehicle, especially in the position of the front bumper. Therefore, there are many car owners who paint the exterior of the vehicle. However, according to the professionals of the auto repair company, the cracks in the paint layer caused by some impacts are not very large, so the average person thinks that it does not affect the aesthetics of the vehicle and ignores it. In fact, the metal under the paint has started to rust. When the owner can observe it from the outside, the metal layer inside has been corroded badly. I am afraid that it will hurt my bones when it is processed.

2 Chassis healing

Some cars scratched the chassis during self-driving tours, but they were often overlooked during maintenance. According to professionals, if the chassis is abnormally sounded, the steering wheel is shaken, the parking place of the vehicle is stained, etc., it means that the chassis has been damaged. This is because after the road surface obstacle scratches the chassis, some parts of the chassis may be deformed, especially the upper and lower swing arms, and the left and right direction levers, etc., are easily deformed. In addition, even some slight scratches can cause slight leakage of the oil pan or gearbox oil pan, etc. These are problems that the owner cannot detect in time by self-detection. Therefore, it is best for car owners to do professional chassis rust care or spray paint to make chassis armor

3 Braking should be sensitive

For a car that has been traveling for a long time, the brake system is prone to problems. In some auto repair shops, the vehicles that came to check the brake system lined up. The first is to observe whether the surface of the brake disc is smooth. If there are obvious grooves, this is because when the vehicle is driving on the gravel road, some fine sand and stones are caught between the brake disc and the mudguard, constantly rubbing the surface of the brake disc As a result, if the situation is serious, it will obviously affect the brake performance. At this time, it is necessary to drive to the designated service station to check to see if it is necessary to replace the brake pads. If you find that the brake oil level has dropped, you should immediately check the brake oil circuit for leaks. Before checking the brakes, carefully wipe off the dirt on the master cylinder to prevent dirt from falling into the oil storage tank. For cylinders without scales, the liquid level should be kept 6 mm away from the top of the cylinder. If there is a scale, as long as the liquid level is higher than the scale. Professionals remind car owners and friends to know some maintenance knowledge. If they do maintenance in some small street shops, they should always remind maintenance personnel to maintain items.

4 Tire pressure is normal

During the self-driving tour, the tires have the longest contact with the ground and the most wear and tear, so it is a place that needs to be inspected. If the tire is a radial tire, the sidewall is its weakest part. Because the entire radial tire only has no steel wire on the sidewall, you must also be very careful in use. If you travel at a high speed in an area with poor road conditions when traveling, the tire may hit a deep hole or other foreign objects, which will cause the tire to squeeze and deform between the impact object and the rim flange, causing the sidewall cord to break the yarn. The air inside the tire will lift up from the broken yarn to form a bulge. If you find that the tire bulge should be replaced in time, otherwise it is easy to cause a flat tire when driving at high speed. Measure the tire pressure to see if it stays within the normal range. If it is abnormal, it should be inflated and adjusted in time.

5 Engine oil should be sufficient

Whether the engine oil is enough is related to whether the engine can work normally. Therefore, when returning from driving, you must check whether the engine oil is sufficient. The step is to pull out the dipstick first and wipe it clean with a cloth under the premise of turning off the engine; then reinsert the dipstick — try to insert it as far as possible, otherwise the reading will be inaccurate; finally pull out the dipstick, Check the oil level at the end of the dipstick. If the oil level is lower or slightly higher than the low oil level line, you need to remove the oil filler cap and refill the engine oil. The amount of oil that needs to be filled is based on the level of the oil level between the low and high oil level lines on the dipstick. After filling, pay attention to tighten the oil cap.

6 Coolant liquid level needs to meet the standard

With the engine cooled, check the transparent coolant tank. If the liquid level is maintained between the "F" and "L" marking lines of the liquid storage tank, then it meets the requirements. If the liquid level is below the "L" line, it is necessary to add coolant to make the liquid level reach "F" line. After filling the coolant, if the coolant level drops within a short time, it may indicate a leak. Visually check the radiator, hose, engine coolant filler cap, radiator and drain cock, and pump to see if water is flowing out. If no leak is found, you need to drive the car to the designated service station for further testing. Note that to prevent burns, do not remove the radiator cap when the engine is still hot.

7 Battery for wound healing

After long-distance driving, the car's battery may come loose due to strong vibration or the battery fluid may spill out. At this time, it is necessary to check whether there is corrosion on the outside of the battery or the joint is loose, cracked or the pressure tool is loose. If the battery is corroded by the spilled battery fluid, it needs to be washed with a mixed solution of warm water and baking soda water, and grease is applied to the outside of the joint to prevent further corrosion. If the connection of the connector is loose, the nut of the clip must be tightened, but not too tight. It can be tightened to keep the battery fixed in its position. Overtightening will damage the battery box.

8 car dedusting

During the self-driving tour, because traveling in a completely unfamiliar environment, car owners like to roll down the window to observe the scenery outside the car, but because the window is opened for a long time, a lot of dust has accumulated in the car, especially the carpet, Suede-covered parts such as the roof and door trim are hard to handle due to dust accumulation. This requires dry cleaning of these parts with a professional steam cleaner. Although other parts of the car, such as the instrument panel, are not easily contaminated with dust, the corners and corners should also be cleaned with a rag or cotton swab to avoid dust accumulation.

9 Air conditioning refrigerant inspection leak

Air-conditioning maintenance is divided into two aspects. One is to carefully check whether the air-conditioning refrigerant storage tank located in the front of the vehicle has leaked due to bumps or impact after returning from the trip. The second situation is a large amount of dust accumulation in the air-conditioning radiator and pipes caused by the bad environment during the journey. As for the dust accumulation in the air conditioning pipeline, although it cannot be directly contacted, you can use the method of directly injecting a special cleaning agent to the air inlet of the air conditioning and then opening the circulation in the air conditioning to remove the dust in the pipeline. This cleaning agent is not corrosive. Don't worry about damaging the plastic parts of the pipeline.

10 Glass degreasing

Is there any maintenance besides washing with water? Yes, glass maintenance is very knowledgeable. Not all problems can be solved by washing with water. For example, after the glass is stained with oil, the naked eye may not be able to observe it, but the effectiveness of the wiper will be greatly reduced. At this time, you must use a degreasing detergent to remove these greases.
