After drinking tea for many years, but still do not know the origin of tea?

my country is the first country in the world to discover, cultivate and utilize tea. Tea is absorbed by other countries in my country's foreign cultural communication. Among them, the Japanese tea ceremony and the British black tea are the best representatives of localizing Chinese tea.

The origin of "Chinese tea history" is still a matter of debate so far, and the controversy is undecided. Generally speaking, there are the pre-Qin theory, the Western Han theory, and the Three Kingdoms theory. Tea appeared as a cultural image. It was in the Northern and Southern Dynasties of the Jin Dynasty. After the Kaiyuan in the Tang Dynasty, the "tea ceremony" became popular in China, and the style of drinking tea pervaded the world. Song Cheng's style of drinking tea in the Tang Dynasty became increasingly popular.

Chinese tea history

Age of Shennong: It is said that Shennong discovered the detoxification effect of tea more than 5000 years ago. Since then, the medicinal and edible properties of tea have been utilized by humans.

Western Zhou Dynasty and Eastern Zhou Dynasty: Before 3000, began to cultivate tea trees artificially and served as food.

Qin Dynasty: Before 2300, he started to drink tea, cook and drink. And for medicinal purposes.

Han Dynasty: Tea appeared as a cultural image in the Northern and Southern Dynasties. If the origin is traced back to the Han Dynasty, Hao Yixing in the Qing Dynasty pointed out in the "Certificate and Custom" that "The method of drinking tea was first seen in the late Han Dynasty, but has germinated in the former Han Dynasty.

(Western Han Dynasty) Commercialization began before 2000, and Chengdu became the earliest tea distribution center in my country.

(East Han) Around 1500, tea cakes were made for transportation.

The Tang Dynasty: Before 1200, it was influenced by the economy and culture of the Tang Dynasty; the advocacy of Lu Yu's "Tea Sutra"; the influence of monk life and the absorption of tea for teaching affairs, and the climatic conditions were also conducive to the development of the tea industry.

Song Dynasty: Improvement of tea-making skills before 1000; attention to water quality; access to fighting tea.

Yuan Dynasty: Before 700 years, loose tea was made and steamed heavily.

Ming Dynasty: More than 600 years ago, the processes of yellow tea, black tea and scented tea were formed one after another.

Qing Dynasty: 300 years ago, Chinese tea became popular all over the world. It was the only tea market in the world. At that time, only China exported tea. The process was mainly baking green and fried green. Oolong tea, black tea, black tea, scented tea, green tea, and white tea were produced.

1) 1846-1886 was the prosperous period of Chinese tea (the area of tea gardens continued to expand, and tea output increased rapidly, effectively promoting the development of foreign trade).

2) From 1886 to 1947, it was a period of decline for Chinese tea production (political, economic, and international tea market competition failed).

3) From 1950 to 1988, it was the period of recovery and development of tea production in China. With the support and attention of the government, it vigorously restored old tea gardens, established new tea gardens, improved new varieties, promoted scientific tea cultivation, and promoted the steady development of the tea economy. This makes tea production rank the second in the world.

Three stages with tea

Medicinal use: The discovery and use of tea can be traced back to the primitive period. In my country's first monograph "Shen Nong's Materia Medica", there is "Shen Nong's taste of baicao", which is solved by 72 poisons every day. "Tea is used medicinally, chewed orally, cleared heat, and applied externally to reduce inflammation and detoxification."

Eating: "The ancient people drink water from the grass", "people take food as the sky", eating first conforms to the evolutionary law of human society from raw chewing to cooking. Tea leaves can be used to cook "tea porridge" or "soup soup" with food, or to boil, pick up, and add seasoning. Today, the Jinuo people in Yunnan still have "cold tea dishes."

Drinking: Drinking comes from eating, drinking tea is more thirsty than drinking white. The pastoral area mixes tea with milk and drinks together, and there are beating tea and scouring tea in minority areas.

Three stages of drinking tea

Method of making tea in the Tang Dynasty: Before making tea, grind the tea leaves into powder, boil the water, put the seasoning into it, and then sprinkle the tea powder into the pot. When drinking, drink tea dregs and tea soup together while hot, which is called "eating tea".

How to order tea in the Song Dynasty: Make tea powder with boiling water, mix it with tea, and drink it. Today's matcha tea ceremony originated here.

The method of making tea in the Ming Dynasty: The Ming Dynasty changed to whole leaf tea brewing, which was the beginning of modern tea making.

China is the origin of tea. In ancient times, the Chinese were familiar with tea, from emperors and generals to literati and Mok; down to picking husbands and hustlemen and civilians, all of them favored tea. The development of Chinese tea to now, in addition to pure drinking, is more of a cultural heritage. The Chinese culture is broad and profound, which includes our tea culture!
